two and a half months apart and this is the first morning back together again.

we were a tad early for your doctors appointment today so you played on mima's lap in the parking lot. your so funny. your comedic timing is impeccable muffins and your facial expressions are so spot on.

you may look identical to dad, but i must say, i do think you have a bit of mama's spunkiness in ya.

you started siting up by yourself this past month and you laugh all the time these days little bear. every time i hear you laugh i feel my heart (literally, i feel it) open up more than i ever thought possible. you have a special way of melting my heart. you love exploring the world around you, you watch everything, everyone, soaking it all up.. those big blue eyes take it all in, and i think about how perhaps my role is to invite you to never, ever forget all that you already know. all that you came to this earth knowing. seeing the world through your eyes has taught me so much. i have so much to learn from you. you have shown me a beauty i never even knew existed. you have given me a deeper understanding of our gospel and the love Heavenly Father has for each of his children here on earth. you have blessed our lives beyond our wildest dreams. its so fun watching you grow into the little girl you are becoming. each day is an adventure and an opportunity to love and adore you more. i am so proud of you. we are so blessed. you are so completely loved little bear, every second of every day. for all eternity.

those chubby little legs just make this picture to die for cute.

i can’t hold you and not feel Heavenly Father... in your tiny fingers you press into my skin, in your sweet breath against my neck, your soft coos while you melt me with those col bolt blue eyes, the way your smile comes all way from your toes…your everything true and just. the definition of a blessing in its purest form. this mothers day i was filled with gratitude for all the ways the Lord has blessed my life...but most specifically for this magical, warm little person that is asleep across my lap at this very moment. God is so very good and i’ve got proof.

your first art project was for mothers day. your feet make the perfect hearts in my opinion.

it was a messy project but well worth it.

you are so blessed to have two of the most incredible woman as your grandmothers.

they are strong, compassionate, authentic, grateful, generous, honest, humble, encouraging, and loving. and boy do they love and adore you. we are so blessed.

its been real, but man are we glad to been done with you.

you felt yuck after they took it off so mommy did what mommy does best, cuddled. all you wanted to do was cuddle, sit in my lap and watch what i was watching, rock in your room and watch the ceiling fan. i wasn't complaining because you aren't always the biggest cuddle bug.

so i took full advantage and we had a cuddle fest and made you feel all better.

and now your one happy girl without a cast. once its strong enough i have no doubt you'll be crawling all over the place. but no rush.
